I believe the Continental is going to replace the MKS. It was pretty much a flop sales wise, so I'm sure Ford is more than eager to see it pensioned off. They only sold a little over 8100 of them last year.

The MKS is a huge car, I'm assuming price wise the Conti is definitely going to be situated above the MKS but I could see the MKS stick around like the XTS and be the similarly priced, but less @ fully loaded big barge from Lincoln.

Remember, the MKS and XTS aren't the best sellers in the civilian market (though, fwiw...they're both extremely comfy highway cruisers with nice interiors) but they sell en masse in the livery business. And both GM and Ford would be silly to simply stop producing them. I know the "simple" answer is to sell the CT6 and Conti as livery models but FWD based cars are easier to maintain in such applications (and usually cheaper) and I'm going to assume that both brands want to shed the taxi image for both their new flagships.
